In August 2024, the FeMo catalyst Syamcat JQ116 successfully passed a single tube evaluation requested by a Russian customer. After seven days of continuous testing, the evaluation report indicated excellent performance in the production process, with the target output exceeding expectations. The positive results were highly appreciated by the customer, leading to a prompt decision to sign the contract.

This study introduces a non-transition metal catalyst, KH0.19C24, that enables efficient ammonia synthesis under mild conditions (250-400°C, 1 MPa). Through potassium hydride intercalation in graphene, it reduces energy demands, offering a sustainable solution with potential in fertilizers and renewable energy.
